Eugene L. Causey

Eugene L. Causey, 66, a resident of Gages Lake, passed away Friday May 15, 2015 at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. He was born July 29, 1948 in Moweaqua, IL to Elmer and Fern Causey. Eugene was a member of the Pipefitters Union. He helped many people struggling with alcohol addiction. Eugene loved computers, but most of all loved spending time with his family. Eugene is survived by his wife of 4 years, Dianna, whom he wed on August 10, 2011 in Waukegan, IL, his children Kenneth of Wisconsin, Christopher of Wisconsin, Jay of Wisconsin, Dawn of Wisconsin, Adam of Illinois, and Jessica of Grayslake, his grandchildren Brandi, Destiny, Tori, Amanda, Christopher, Lucas, and Jaxon, his great-grandchildren Dominik and Samuel, and his brother Ron of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents. The memorial visitation is scheduled for Thursday May 21, from 6 P.M. till 7 P.M. with a memorial service starting at 7 P.M. at the Strang Funeral Chapel 410 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, Il, 60030.
