Elisabeth Bruns

Elisabeth Bruns, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Friday April 5, 2013 at the age of 78. She was born February 7, 1935 in Ulm, Germany to Lorenz and Anna Oesterle. Elisabeth is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl Bruns, her children Dr. Eric Bruns "Uncle Dude", Katrina Monson, and Andrea (Robert) Buzek, her grandchildren Cristina, Dana, Captain Benjamin (Michelle) of the US Army, Jacob, Claire, Kyle, and Alex, her siblings Karl Oesterle, Ulrich Oesterle, and Gertrud Loleit, her brothers-in-law, Horst and Gerhard, her sister-in-law Maria, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Margaret Heinrich, Doris Hohendorf, and Peter Oesterle. Friends of the family may visit on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 3:00pm until 9:00 pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday April 13, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Gilbert Catholic Church in the chapel 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
