Elaine C. Francis

Elaine C. Francis, 93, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Thrive of Lake County in Mundelein, IL.  She was born May 25, 1927 in Oak Park, IL to Herbert and Hattie Peterson.  Elaine was a member of the United Protestant Church in Grayslake, IL.  Elaine is survived by her children Cindy (Randy) Timmel and John (Mary) Francis, her grandchildren Christy (Casey) Webb, Rich (Natasha) Landerholm, Ryan (Christine) Landerholm, Melissa (Andy) Leisernring, Amy (Chris) Stenz, and Megan Francis, her great-grandchildren Nathan, Charlie, Owen, Kyle, Dylan, Addilyn, Audrianna, Madison, Olivia, Natalie, and Anna, and her nieces and nephew.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Francis, her son Mark Francis, her parents, and her siblings Herbert Peterson and Charlotte Rydberg.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 9:00am to 10:00am with the funeral service starting at 10:00am at the United Protestant Church 54 S. Whitney St. Grayslake, IL 60030 (Due to Covid-19 the funeral service is limited to just 10 people, the visitation will be on rotation).  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.  Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL.
