Doris M. Davis

Doris M. Davis, 96, a resident of Wildwood, IL, passed away September 12, 2022 at Anthology in Grayslake, IL.  She was born November 18, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Edmund and Frida Becker.

Doris was a member of the Eastern Star, Karnak, and the Daughters of the Nile.  She was an avid Cubs fan.

Doris is survived by her children Deborah (Odilon) Boey, Richard E. Davis, and Jeffrey Davis, her grandchildren Julie (Mark) Loewes, Brian (Nicole) Boey, Melissa Ann (Damien) Burczyk, Jennifer Lynn Davis, Steven Kehm, Erik Kehm, and Nathan Davis,  her great-grandchildren Andrew Loewes, Charlotte Loewes, Harrison (Madison) Loewes, Katelyn (Patrick) McKay, Nicholas Boey, Victoria Boey, and Ophelia Boey, and her daughter-in-law Chris Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard Davis II, her sons Bernard Davis III and Gregory Davis, and her sister Betty (Joseph) Dahlman.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 2:00pm.  Interment will be held privately.
