Donna Jo Chellstorp

Donna Jo Chellstorp, 65, of Grayslake, IL, passed away on January 25, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 21, 1959, in Libertyville to Donald and Marcia Niemi.

Donna was a beloved mother and friend. She was known for her culinary talents, both in cooking and baking, bringing family and friends together with her delicious creations. Her passion for crocheting brought many beautiful handmade gifts that will forever be cherished. Her warmth, creativity, intelligence, compassion, integrity, and love for others will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Donna graduated from Mundelein High School in 1977 and Southern Illinois University in 1981.

Donna is survived by her sons, Kyle of Grayslake and Cody (Jessica) of Gurnee. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Niemi, and her parents.
