Dominic M. Squillaci, Jr.

Dominic M. Squillaci Jr., 93, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away December 23, 2024, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born November 30, 1931, in Chicago, IL to Dominic Sr. and Grace (nee Lipari) Squillaci.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Rosemarie, his brothers Joseph (Mary Ann), sister Rosalie (Jack Thompson) and Salvatore.

Dominic is survived by his children Grace of Mundelein and Dominic (Sue) of Lake Villa, his grandchildren Leyna and daughter Sofia of Antioch , Justin (Angel) of Arvada, CO, and Jacob of Arizona, and his many nieces and nephews.

Dominic served as a proud member of the Chicago Police Department for 30+ years and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  When not serving and protecting, he could be found wood working and doing repairs around the house.

A visitation and funeral mass are scheduled for Friday, December 27, 2024, at St. Louise de Marillac 1155 Harrison Ave. La Grange Park, IL from 10:00am until 11:00am with the mass commencing at 11:00am.  The interment will follow the services at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
