Domenico Maniscalco

Domenico Maniscalco, 89, a resident of Gurnee, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.  He was born on September 22, 1927 in Italy to Calogero and Antonina (nee Maurici) Maniscalco.

Domenico is survived by his wife, Angelica (nee Ferrantelli), of 64 years, whom he married on April 25, 1953 in Burgio, Italy.   He is further survived by his sons, Vito and Anthony (Shelly) Maniscalco; daughter-in-law, Reem Maniscalco; grandchildren, Domenico, Angie, Shaden, Carl, Adam, and Nathan; brother, Vito Maniscalco, and many sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Carl; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 8, 2017 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646.  Interment will be held at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N.
