Domenica Tucci

Domenica "Dee" Tucci 1924-2022 Domenica "Dee" Tucci, age 97, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2022 due to natural causes. She was born in New York City on August 25th, 1924 to Cologida and Ernesto Tricarico. Her parents immigrated from Palermo, Italy in 1900. She married Jerry Tucci, while he was in the service, on June 6th, 1943, who preceded her in death in 2013.

Dee was an energetic, creative, loving person with a bright smile. She was a compassionate spirit whose passion was her family. Her energy was infectious. Dee instilled in her children a sense of purpose, honesty, and creativity. She loved music and art, and was herself talented in many ways. Dee worked as a Beautician, for almost 50 years. She moved to Florida in retirement and was an avid tennis player well into her 80's. Dee had many hobbies including ceramics, needle-point, sewing, and crocheting filling her home with dolls dressed in various crocheted outfits of her own design. In 2014 she traveled to Italy to experience her ancestral culture and attend a Papal mass. She moved to St Catherine's Commons in 2013 where she enjoyed an active life even after her stroke in 2016.

She is preceded in death by her 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and Daughter, Geraldine. Dee is survived by her daughter, Lorraine and son -in-law Alfred Robinson, Son, Mark and daughter-in-law Krystyna Tucci, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
