Denise Martinez

We are deeply saddened to share the untimely passing of Denise Martinez (nee Quirke), 42, of Lake Villa, IL. On April 10, 2021, the world lost an incredible spirit who touched everyone she knew with her endearing personality.

Denise was born on October 2, 1978 to Irene and Dennis Quirke. She grew up in Round Lake, IL where she eventually met her husband, David Martinez. They started a family together and had three beautiful children, Arianna, Aubrey and Benjamin. Her family meant the world to her and this "Mama Bear" would do anything to protect them.

She is proceeded in death by her mother and survived by her husband and children as well as countless family and friends. Those who were lucky enough to call Denise a friend knew she would have your back no matter what. Although she is no longer physically with us, there is no doubt she is still watching over those she loved as our guardian angel.

A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 16, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 8:00 pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
