Daniel R. Wimmer

Daniel R. Wimmer, age 62, a resident of Ingleside, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville. He loved to play with his dogs, cook and plant flowers. Danny is survived by his sister, Janette Wimmer; 2 aunts, Violet Traub and Ruth Forster; 6 step children, Meredith Matthews, Calvin (Kayla) Moore, Jessica (Vince) LoPiccolo, Carla Van Cleve, Joel (Misty) Van Cleve and Paula (Tim) Ermel; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Donna Wimmer; and step son, Eric Van Cleve. A visitation and memorial service are scheduled for Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
