Daniel F. Griffin Iii

Daniel F. Griffin III, 69, a resident of Volo, passed away Monday, January 08, 2018 at Journeycare Hospice in Barrington, IL.  He was born February 16, 1948 in Denver, CO to Daniel Jr. and June Griffin.  Daniel was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served for the US Army.  He loved the Beatles, working on computers, and movies.  Daniel is survived by his children, Justin (Tina) Griffin, Natalie (Tony) Adams, and Melissa (Colin) Gaffney, his grandchildren Ann, Connor, Logan, and Teagan, and his sisters Patricia Griffin and Katherine (Mark) Dennis.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Delcie Griffin. A memorial service will start promptly at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at The Chapel, 330 S. Old Rand Rd. Lake Zurich, IL 60047.  Following funeral services, all will be invited for fellowship and refreshments at The Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Daniel's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E.
