Charles Lee Goodman

Charles Lee Goodman "Chuck", 75, a resident of Park City, IL, passed away on February 20, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born on February 27, 1950 in Elgin, IL to Kenneth and Theresa (nee Engel) Goodman. 

Chuck was an extraordinary person known for his caring nature, generosity, and mischievous streak, always ready with a warm smile or witty remark that brightened the lives of those around him. Chuck enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and taking care of his plants and animals. He was a proud retired union plumber. In his recent years, he found joy in giving back to his community, volunteering for several local organizations and continuing to make a difference in the lives of others.

Charles is survived by his siblings, Carol (Bob) Evans of Virginia; Mary (Gary) Fletcher of Wisconsin; and Bonnie Peskie of Florida; in addition to  many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michele "Shelly" McDermott; his parents; his sisters, Mable and Patricia; and his brothers, Kenneth, George, and Robert.

A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at a future date.
