Carole Renz

Carole Renz, 83, of Grayslake, passed away Sunday April 20, 2014 at Sedgebrook Health Center in Lincolnshire, IL. She was born September 6, 1930 in Northbrook, IL the daughter of Donald and Thorun (nee: Einarson) Clavey. Carole loved to play cards, cook, and in her younger days dance. She was an avid reader and was always interested in current events. Carole loved animals and loved to laugh. Carole is survived by her children Phoebe (Walter) Carlile of Riverview, FL, Chris Renz of Ingleside, IL, and Sarah Renz of Vernon Hills, IL, her grandchildren Timothy Carlile of Riverview, FL and Jonathan (fiancée Amanda Segallos) Carlile of Brandon, FL, her nephew David (Mary) Clavey, and her sister-in-law Carmella Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Renz, and her brother David. All arrangements were private and entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
