Brenda R. Fox

Brenda R. Fox, age 65, a resident of Waukegan, passed away on May 20, 2022 at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, IL after a three year battle with cancer.  She was born on July 3, 1956 in Waukegan to Lawrence and Bernice (nee Neva) Fox.  Bren retired from Cardinal Health after a 30 year career.  She worked very hard to create a comfortable life for herself.  She loved horseback riding, when she was younger she had her own horse, Midnite.  She loved all animals and will be missed dearly by her kitty, Marley.  She enjoyed boating and owned her own boat for seven years.  Bren and her entire family love boating on the Fox River. Thanks to her father, the entire family became boaters. Her favorite song to listen to and karaoke to was Crazy by Patsy Kline.   She had a beautiful townhome and loved decorating.  She enjoyed all her family and friends.  She was a wonderful sister and sister-in-law. Bren will be deeply missed by all.

Bren is survived by her sister, Lori (Lee) Jurka of Johnsburg; her brother, Larry (Linda) Fox of Nevada; her nephews, Rob (Liz) Fox of California and Brad (Kathy) Fox of California; and three great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  All funeral arrangements were handled by Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  For more information, please call (847) 223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org .
