Beverly Lonberg, 78, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Friday August 22, 2014. She was born January 20, 1936 in Elmhurst, IL to Walter and Blanche Ninneman. Beverly was a member of the Eastern Star and a Trustee of Calvary Presbyterian Church. She graduated Phi Theta Kappa from the College of Lake County and owned and operated 3 hair salons in Cook County. Beverly was a leather craftsman, a professional artist, and a certified clown known as "Pickles". She worked as a phlebotomist and hematologist in the medical field as well. Beverly is survived by her step sons Mike Lonberg, Randall Watson, Jim Lonberg, Daniel Lonberg, her children Tracey (Steven) Rix-Bastean, Robin (Ken) Smith, Amanda Lonberg, and James Lonberg, her grandchildren Faith, Luke, and Jeremiah Smith, and Marissa, Melissa, and Corey Bastean, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Lonberg, her mother Blanche Ninneman, and her grandmother Della Taylor. Friends of the family may visit Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 2:00pm until 6:00 pm with a service commencing at 6:00pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E.
