Betty Anderson

Betty Anderson, age 93, passed away on November 10, 2021 at her home.  She was born on August 27, 1928 in Chicago to Robert and Bessie (nee Keclick) Carpenter.  Betty loved shopping, gardening, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dan, whom she married on October 1, 1960 in Chicago; her children, Steven (Tammy) of Huntley and Chris of Lindenhurst; her three grandchildren, Steven (Kate) of Schaumburg, Timothy (Christine) of Lake in the Hills, and Brian of Huntley; and great granddaughter, Maddy.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Robert and James Carpenter.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11am at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL 60060.  A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00am until 11:00am.  Interment will be held at St Mary of the Annunciation Cemetery immediately following Mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
