Bernice D. Pocius

Bernice D. Pocius, 96, a resident of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Village of Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst.  She was born April 5, 1924 in Gurnee, IL to Peter and Michalina Pocius.  Bernice was a retiree of Outboard Marine Corporation in Waukegan.  She was a member of a Lithuanian Club in Waukegan, enjoyed sewing and traveling.  Bernice is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Simon W. Pocius, Catherine M. Chambers, and Peter R. Pocius, and her dear friends Hugo Kiupa.   Interment will be held privately at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville.  Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E.
