Bernard R. Slesnick

Bernard Robert Slesnick, 88, a resident of Grayslake and formerly of Cleveland, OH and Greenville, PA, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born January 26, 1929 in Greenville, PA.  Bernard is survived by his wife Barbara Horn-Slesnick, whom he wed on July 26, 1953, his son Steven (Susan) Slesnick, his daughter Shari (Guisseppe) Slesnick, his son Ronald (Vicki) Slesnick, his 7 grandchildren, and his 8 great-grandchildren.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 3:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.  Interment will be held at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation 205 N Michigan Ave Suite 2530, Chicago, IL 60601.
