Arlene C. Heintz

Arlene C. Heintz, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021.  She was 88.  She was born on November 5, 1932 in Chicago to John and Caroline (nee Werba) Novak.

Arlene is survived by her children, Susan Marsala, Ellen (Joseph) Lawes, Jennifer Heintz, Thomas (Cynthia) Heintz, and Kenneth (Lisa) Heintz; her grandchildren, Erin (Rob), Craig (Kim), Alyssa (Patrick), Michael, and Christina; her great grandchildren, Stephen, Caitlin, Colin, and Emma; her siblings, Eugene Novak, Carol Becker, John (Katherine) Novak, Fredrick (Barbara) Novak; her sister-in-law, Rose Novak; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; her brothers, Gerald and Merle Novak; and her sisters-in-law, Coletta and Donna Novak.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 from 9:45am until 10:45am followed by a procession to church where a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Road, Gurnee, IL 60031.  Interment will be held privately.
