Arlene V. Cederberg

Arlene V. Cederberg, 85, a resident of Berwyn, IL , passed away Wednesday November 26, 2014 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1929 in Chicago, IL. Arlene was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Round Lake Park, the Ladies Aid, and the Dorcas Society, and had worked as an executive secretary. Arlene is survived by her children Richard L. Cederberg Jr., Michael S. Cederberg, Beth A. Jeffers, her brother David (Camille) Haffner, and her sisters-in-law Gloria Haffner and Elayne Weber. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Louis Cederberg Sr. whom she wed on October 23, 1949, her loving and dear son-in-law Michael Jeffers, her siblings Anna Mae (Willard) Ott, Ruth (William) Meyer, and John Paul Haffner, and her brother-in-law Robert Weber. Friends of the family may visit on Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E Belvidere Rd. Grayslake IL 60030. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday December 4, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Paul Lutheran Church 420 Greenwood Dr. Round Lake Park, IL. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL. Memorials may be made to the family of Arlene Cederberg.
