Alejandro (Alex) Jaime

Alejandro (Alex) Jaime, age 53, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away on December 23, 2023. He was born on July 27, 1970, in Waukegan, IL to Vickie and Rene Jaime.

Alex was an avid sports fan, especially fond of the Cubs, fisherman, and always on the hunt for the best Bloody Mary during his travels. He enjoyed experimenting with new food creations and cooking for loved ones. He was known for his unique phrases, being a prankster, and could always be counted on for a laugh. Alex was a kind and loving person.  He was a long-time employee of John Crane.

Alex is survived by his long-time partner, Lisa Velez; daughter, Tina Marie (Paul) Clayborn; his mother, Vickie Jaime; siblings Kim Jaime, Celia Jaime, Juan Jose Jaime, Leticia Jaime and Marcos Jaime; and his beloved nieces, nephews and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.  Alex was very loved and will be deeply missed.

Services will be private on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Strang's in Grayslake; internment will be held privately at a future date.  Memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet, P.O. Box 261, Grayslake, IL 60030 (www.saveapetil.org)
