Albert G. Heimos Jr.

Albert G. Heimos Jr., 68, a resident of Wildwood, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Alden of Long Grove. He was born July 3, 1946 in Chicago. Albert was a fan of NASCAR especially Jeff Gordon. Albert is survived by his children Scott (Kari) Heimos and Jodi Heimos, his granddaughter Amanda Heimos, his siblings Arthur Heimos, Alen (Marcy) Heimos, Annabelle (Hal) Hopkins, and Anita (Joe) Gerhardt, and 13 nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Alberta Larson. A memorial visitation is scheduled for Friday June 12, 2015 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a memorial service commencing at 12:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
