Adeline E. Tessendorf

Adeline Esther Florence (nee: Steidtman) Callos Tessendorf, 88, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away August 29, 2017 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.  She was born June 15 1929 in Merrill, WI to Walter and Anna Steidtman.  Adeline was proficient at crossword puzzles and enjoyed crocheting.  Adeline is survived by her children Kirby (Marcia) Callos, Brian (Doris) Callos, and Susan (Daniel) Huber, her loving niece Carol Steidtman her grandchildren Becca Osmolak, Brian (Randi) Callos, Tracie Osmolak, Neil (Darlene) Huber, Jamie (Bruce) Scoville, and Garin (Crystal) Callos, her great-grandchildren Joshua, Dasan, Joscelyn, Adeline, Thatcher, Kegan, Emma, Leyla, and Travis, and her sisters Florence (Alan) Lemke, and Lorna (the late Lilas) Woller.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husbands Edward Callos, whom she wed on April 5, 1947 and Earl Tessendorf whom she wed on November 28, 1980, her sister Esther Steidtman, and  her brothers Ernst Steidtman, Harold Steidtman, William (Helen) Steidtman, Frederick (Emma) Steidtman, and Walter (Sylvia) Steidtman.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service commencing at 11:00am at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association 225 N.
