William A. Leffelman, 91, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away July 21, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born August 12, 1934 in Libertyville, IL to Sylvester and Christina Leffelman.

William was a veteran of the US Army.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, gardening, and driving his truck. 

William is survived by his children Steven (Debbie) Leffelman, Michael Leffelman, Julia Leffelman, and Robert Leffelman, his grandchildren Amber (Brandon) Hadley,  Joseph Leffelman, Cassandra (Chris) Brockman, Heather (Adam) Miler, Joshua (Kim) Farrally, Jenna Leffelman, and Troy Leffelman, his great-grandchildren Ryan, Vincent, Chance, Lilliana, Maddie, Elizabeth, Temperance, Matthew, Andrew, Alexis, Nathan, Axel, Canyon, ReiAnn, Asher, and Elijah, and his siblings Lois (Lee) Skwierczynski, and Alfred Leffelman.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Arlene, and his loving companion Joni Haas.

A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.  The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, July 27, 2026 at 10:00am at the funeral chapel.  Interment will follow at Willow Lawn Cemetery in Vernon Hills.
