Walter H. Ramoser, 88, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away June 5, 2026, at Alto Grayslake.  He was born September 3, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Lorenz and Kahte Ramoser.

Walter was a proud veteran having served for the US Army.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.  Walter loved and was loved by his family.

Walter is survived by his children Ricky Ramoser of Wauconda, IL, Lisa (Roger) Rotunno of Lindenhurst, IL, and Wally Ramoser of Huntley, IL, and his grandchildren Anthony (Lauren) Rotunno of Kenosha, WI, Vincent Rotunno of Westerville, OH, and Karlie Rotunno of Lindenhurst, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenz and Kahte, his wife Rita (nee: O'Reilley), and his daughter-in-law Laurel (nee:Matteoni) Ramoser.

A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 10:00am unitl 11:00am with the service commencing at 11:00am.  Interment will be held privately.
