Suzanne J. Sweeney, 80, a resident of Fox Lake, IL, passed away December 15, 2025 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL.  She was born December 1, 1945 to Harry and Marguerite Carlson.

Suzanne is survived by her sons Raymond (Phadonya) Sweeney and Ryan (Mary Jane) Sweeney,  and her grandchildren Novalee (Alex Selepa) Sweeney and Parker Sweeney.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Sweeney, and her brother Randy Carlson.  

Sue was a teacher and tax accountant and touched the lives of many people through her charity and acts of kindness in her community.  She had great wisdom and spirit and will be missed greatly by her family and those who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026.  Please reach out to her family if you wish to attend.
