Stephanie Maxine Sewood

Stephanie Maxine Sewood (Max), age 30, of Grayslake, Illinois passed away on July 13, 2026. She was born on June 1, 1996 in Chicago to Sandra Henley and Wesley E. Sewood.

Stephanie is known for her love of the Lord and her kind spirit. Stephanie graduated from Westlake Christian Academy in 2014 and in 2019 from Carthage College. Stephanie is survived by her mother, Sandra Henley; her siblings, Danae Sewood of Volo, and Thomas Sewood of Chicago; and her grandfather, James A. Henley, III. She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley E. Sewood; her grandfather, Ernest Sewood; her grandmothers, Janet Maxine Henley and Doris Sewood.

A Funeral Service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:30am. A Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 9am until the time of service. Entombment will be held at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
