Roseann Gallas, [age 71], a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away suddenly last Friday. Born and raised in Chicago, Roseann later made her home in Grayslake, where she spent the final years of her life surrounded by loved ones.

Known for her warm smile, generous heart and ability to make everyone feel welcome, Roseann had a gentle way of bringing comfort and joy to those around her. She cherished time with her family and treasured the bonds they shared. Her love for her husband, children, grandchildren and sister was at the center of her life, and she was always there for the people she loved.

Roseann is survived by her husband, Glen Gallas; her daughter, Lisa Tews, and her husband, Jim, and their children, Ella, Owen and Noah; her daughter, Laura Urban, and her husband, Ryan; her son, Geoffrey Gallas; and her younger sister, Mary Raszkowski. She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends, all of whom she loved dearly and made feel like part of her family.

Life will never be the same without Roseann, but our lives are so much better because she was in them. Her smile, her positivity, her kindness and her love will stay with us always. We will miss her more than words can say, but we find comfort knowing she is no longer in pain, listening to her music, smiling down on us and watching over her family from heaven.
