Mary Alice Rockwell, 56, a resident of Round Lake Heights, IL, passed away June 11, 2026 at her home. Mary was born March 14, 1970 in Bloomington, IN to Donna Rockwell.

Mary was a founding member of the Harley Davidson Museum. She spent her life on adventures and loved airplanes, flying, and travel. Mary did not have children of her own, but called all of the children in the family "her kids", and she loved them all with her whole heart.

Mary is survived by her siblings Dawn Palmer of Owensburrow, KY, Robert Rockwell of Round Lake Heights, IL, and Lee Rockwell of Kenosha, WI. She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Rockwell and her sister Natalie Frey.

A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with the memorial service commencing at 3:00pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers or memorials, please send balloons. Mary loved balloons! Any type are appreciated but throughout her life she collected airplanes and Mandalorian memorabilia.
