Joseph H. Jones, Sr., 92, a resident of Lake Villa, IL, passed away June 29, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born April 20, 1934 in Friendship, TN to A.D. and Wilma Jones.

Joseph is survived by his loving companion Alice North, his children Phil Reynolds, Holly (Rich) Snyder, and Joseph (Kim) Jones, Jr., Alice's children Ruth (Rick) Rendon, Geri North, and Glenna (Don) Kufeldt, his grandchildren Brandon (Bri) Reynolds, Brittany Bogdanovic, Kelly Bogdanovic, Samantha Snyder, Ashley (Chris) Savers, Joshua Jones, Kaisa Jones, Courtney (Jourdan) Winkler, Steven Reynolds Jr., Shanel (Tony) Payla, Terri Jo Burby, Jerushia Aunet, Jonathan (Erin) Aunet, David (Kelsey)Tummillo, Heather Kufeldt and numerous great grand children. He was preceded in death by Joann Reynolds, his son Steve Reynolds, and his grandson Jeffrey Reynolds. 

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Monday July 6, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Interment will be held privately.  For more information log onto www.strangfuneral.org or contact (847)223-8122.
