Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Holly Jean Loizzo (nee Walter) at the age of 81. Holly passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026. 

Born on November 4, 1944 in Chicago to parents Edward and Mary Violet Walter. Holly was a woman of immense strength, grace, and boundless love. Holly dedicated her life to her family and friends. 

Above all, she was a devoted mother who taught her children the value of resilience, compassion, and family. She was the guiding light of her family and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Holly's Christmas cookies and deviled eggs will never be forgotten. 

Holly is survived by her children; Amy (Glenn) Heppner, James (Wendy) Loizzo, Michael (Dianne) Loizzo, and Danielle (Rob) Contine. 

Holly was a spoiling Grandmother to; Justin (Liz) Kugler, Keith (Lilly) Loizzo, Ryan (Hilary) Kugler, Craig Heppner, Grace (Luke) Fojut, Michael Loizzo, Emily Contine and Sean Contine. Holly was Great-Grandmother to; Vicky, Isabella, Ethan, Scarlett, Noah, James and Jack.
