Henry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Juli Julkowski, whom he married on September 11, 1988 in Park Ridge; his children, Jackie Julkowski of Villa Grove, Katie (Joe Souligne) Julkowski of Urbana, and Daniel Julkowski of Lindenhurst; his granddaughter, Krymson King of Villa Grove; his brothers, Richard (Kathie) Julkowski of Queen Creek, AZ, Stan (Joanne) Julkowski of Chicago, and Andy (Sue) Julkowski of Amelia, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Adam (Megan) Julkowski, Joe (Erin) Julkowski, Lisa Julkowski, Laura Julkowski, and Grant Silarski. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Irena Julkowski.
Henry was a devoted husband, father, PopPop, brother, uncle, and friend. Whether at home with his family or throughout his 44-year career at Ricoh, he was known for being someone you could count on and for his knack for solving problems. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sarcastic sense of humor, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. Henry could often be found tinkering in the garage, gardening, or fixing computers. He also enjoyed bowling, where he proudly rolled a perfect 300 game. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Bears and Blackhawks, loved listening to Led Zeppelin, never passed up Oreos, and had a special bond with every dog he met, especially our family dogs, Maddy and Mercy. His unwavering love, quiet strength, and the countless memories he created with family and friends will be cherished forever.
