Gangaben Amin, 91, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026. Born in Gujarat, India on May 4, 1935, she was a woman of great resilience and selflessness who dedicated her life to the well-being of her family and advancing her daughters' education.

Gangaben found great joy in reading religious books and be part of Swadhyay parivar. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, whether she was playing card games or doing puzzles with her grandchildren. She was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her legacy of strength and love lives on through her 8 daughters, 19 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service and visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 9:30am until 11:30am.
