Ester Nolasco Dizon, 97, of Grayslake, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026. She was born on August 10, 1928, in Manila, Philippines, to Jose Nolasco and Hipolita Galang.

Ester is lovingly remembered by her children: Jonathan (Digna) Martin of Las Piñas, Philippines; Maridi (Mar) dela Cruz of Princeton, Texas; and Jonas (Marian) Dizon of Parañaque, Philippines. She is also survived by her grandchildren—Deborah, Michael, Jonathan, Erika, Miguel, Micah, Marian, Katrina, Mayet, Thomas, and Simone—and her great‑grandchildren: Elly, Audrey, John Christian, Nicole, Harold, Chloe, Kyle, Iris, Lucas, Cara, and Milo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julio , and her daughter, Carmen Gozar.

Ester graduated from Manila Central University with a degree in dentistry and dedicated 35 years of service to the Philippine Department of Health.

Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and grace.

A Memorial Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
