A resident of Round Lake Beach, IL, Devy A. Lee, 67, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Born on July 29, 1958, in British Columbia, Canada, to Reginald and Amy Aldoff, Devy was deeply rooted in her cultural heritage as a proud member of the Cree Nation.

Devy embraced her spiritual and cultural traditions, finding joy in her connections with the nation. Her passions included sewing, cooking, and cherishing moments spent with her beloved grandchildren, who brought her great joy. Devy was known for her strength, leadership, and her unwavering ability to step up when needed. She attended services at Gurnee Community Church, where she enjoyed the fellowship and sense of community

Devy leaves behind her loving husband of 36 years, Ronald Lee; her children, Kristy McCannel, Ronald Jordan (Kristell) Lee, and Aric Brandon Lee; and her adored grandchildren, Christian Bremer, Hunter Bremer, Noelle Lee, and Isabelle Lee. She is also survived by her sister, Mona Aldoff, and her mother-in-law, Meuone Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Amy Aldoff, and her siblings Jerry Aldoff, Tom Aldoff, and Tracy Robbestad.

Devy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her—her kindness, strength, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.
