Bronwyn Kolb, 62, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away February 13, 2026, at her home. She was born November 16, 1963 in Bloomfield, NJ.
Bronwyn grew up in Libertyville and was known by all who knew her as warm-hearted and generous. She had an artist’s soul. Whether she was making pottery, creating beautiful stationery, or carefully scrapbooking memories, her art reflected her personality—thoughtful, creative, and always beautiful.
In her free time, Bronwyn could often be found with a camera in hand or her nose in a book. She continued to nurture her artistic spirit as a member of The Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire. She especially looked forward to the holidays each year, cherishing time spent with close friends during their beloved annual Christmas cookie exchange.
Bronwyn is preceded in death by her parents, Jon and Sarah Kolb, and her brother, Jayson Kolb. She survived by her sisters Stacey (Guy) Gallaugher and Kristine (Jim) Sewell, her nieces and nephews Tyler Gallaugher, Jack (Elena) Gallaugher, Paige Gallaugher, Kylie Sewell, and Logan Sewell, her great-niece Melanie Robinson, and her many Irish cousins.
A memorial service and visitation are scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the service commencing at 11:00am. Interment will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Grayslake Library.
