Blanca Alicia Sanchez de Gallegos, 92, a resident of Mundelein, IL, passed away April 6, 2026, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  She was born August 20, 1933 in Mexico to Andres and Gertrudis Sanchez.

Blanca is survived by her daughter Blanca (Alfonso) Salazar, her grandchildren Maritza Salazar, Maria de Jesus Salazar, and Lucio Alfonso Salazar, and her sister Consuelo Serna.  She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

A memorial visitation and service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
