Ann Marie Jackson

Ann Marie Jackson, 89, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away early morning on September 25, 2026 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born on September 4, 1937 to Walter and Katherine Kula.

Ann met and married her best friend, Bobby Jackson (Red), who was a career Navy man. Navy life meant moving and living in many locations; California, Virginia, Rhode Island, and New Mexico to name a few. But after retirement, Ann and Red moved back to where she grew up! Ann led a happy life filled with family and friends, and reading. She was an avid sports fan, but her main love was the Chicago Cubs.

Ann is survived by her children, Julie (Timothy) Nelligan of Plainfield, Charles (Ann Caldwell) Jackson of Round Lake, Robert (Tina Abner) Jackson of Lake Villa; her grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly) Harvey of Shorewood, and Erin (Nick) Majka; and three great grandchildren, Reagan, Abigael, and Urban. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Jackson; her daughter, Jessica Przybylo; her parents, Walter and Katherine Kula; and her siblings, Walter Kula, Richard Kula, Elizabeth Rygiel, and Robert Kula.

A Visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 4pm until 8pm. A private Funeral Mass will held at St, Joseph Catholic Church in Round Lake, IL. Interment will be held privately at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
