Obituary's Biography:
Lynda Maria Fuentes, 52, a resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away on May 23, 2025, at her home. She was born on August 18, 1972, in Evanston, IL to Dr. Rudolph and Barbara Salmeron. Lynda spent her whole life in the Chicago area until 2020 when she and her husband relocated to New Mexico. She graduated from DePaul University.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Erik Fuentes; her sisters, Karyn Salmeron of Waukegan, IL, and Kathryn (Victor) Laureano of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and well as many nieces and nephews, family members, and friends. Lynda was loved and cherished by so many and the impact she had on so many lives will remain long after she is gone. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 12pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 9am until 12pm. Interment will be held at Avon Centre Cemetery in Grayslake, IL. I’m devastated to learn the passing of Lynda. She was such an integral part of the Intermatic family and a help to all that needed her expertise. She was a good friend to many and we could count on her in so many ways. Heaven gained another angel way too soon. Godspeed my friend…Godspeed. ðŸ˜

It is with great sadness to hear of her passing, she is gone too soon and missed by many, God Bless her soul and May she be resting in paradise, I send my prayers to her family and loved ones especially her husband Eric as you know I am in Mexico and won’t make it back in time but my heart is with you God Help you through this difficult time, send my love, thoughts and prayers.
I remember Linda from New York State Tax! I will remember when we went to the memorial for our fallen comrades, and 911! We toured the devastation caused and were amazed by the destruction and resilience of the survivors families! God bless you Linda! RIP!
