Obituary's Biography:
Cheryl Ann Fisher, 59, a resident of Wildwood, IL, passed away June 9, 2022 at her home. She was born June 24, 1962 in North Chicago, IL to Arnold and Palma (nee: Alfonso) Jensen.
Cheryl enjoyed bingo, Card Sharks, poker, dogs, gardening, cooking, and going to the race track. She loved the neighborhood she grew up in Wildwood.
Cheryl is survived by her significant other, Chuck Bojniewicz, her daughter Michelle (Eric) Raukohl of Colorado, and her siblings Joe (Barb Bys) Shepherd of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Kristine Jensen of Kenosha, WI, and John Jensen of Fox Lake, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill Shepherd.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030, from 10:00am until 11:00am with the funeral service commencing at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL. Chuck, Michelle, Joe, & Family,
This is soo hard for me and I still can’t get her out of my mind. I had just texted her a week ago and we were gonna meet up this evening. I’m beside myself as I’m sure everyone else is please accept my Condolences. She was a Great Friend and I will surely miss her dearly! It’s just not gonna be the same anymore, She had a heart 💛of Gold. She isn’t far from home that’s a plus and I do plan on stopping by to visit. Your in my thoughts & prayers🙏 Dink

I grew up knowing (and still good friends with) Cheryl’s sister Kris. I really didn’t know Cheryl, much younger than me and Kris but my heart goes out to Kris and all of the friends and family members for this sudden loss of a beautiful woman at too young of an age. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit-Psalm 34:18
