Obituary's Biography:
Patricia Marie Morelli, 87, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on July 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 30, 1937 to Casimir and Mary Bryski in Chicago, IL.
Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also a caring aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She spent over 40 years educating young minds as a dedicated preschool and elementary school teacher in the Melrose Park/Maywood school district. As an active member of her church, she enjoyed singing in the choir and participating in the Senior Club. She especially enjoyed fishing with her husband and watching Jeopardy.
Patricia is survived by her husband, LeRoy, of 64 years whom she married on June 17, 1961 in Chicago; her daughter, Julie Morelli Lewis of Oak Lawn, IL; her daughter-in-law, Loann Morelli of Lake Villa, IL; her grandsons, Richard M.Lewis of Oak Lawn, IL and Michael J. (Emily) Lewis of Chicago, IL; her extended family of Alan (Beth) Van Opstal and her great grandchildren, Selma, Miguel, and Samuel; her brothers, Frank (Marilou) Bryski of Wood Dale, IL and Eugene (Angela) Bryski of Oak Dale, MN; and her brother-in-law, James Fischer of Janesville, WI. She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Morelli; and her siblings, Ronald (Gloria) Bryski, Constance Fischer, and Dorothy (Lee) McMahon. A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL 60060 on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 11:00 am. We are very sad that Pat has left us but happy for her that she has gone home to heaven. Pat was so kind and will be so missed. But this is not good bye, it is until we meet again. Love you Pat.
