Obituary's Biography:

Susan Marie Olk, 69, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Saturday November 22, 2014 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born January 9, 1945 in Chicago to Phillip and Gertrude (nee: Zapf) Jaworski. Susan loved arts and crafts and spending time with her family. She loved flowers and gardening. Susan is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael, whom she wed on April 1, 1967 in Chicago, her children Penny (David) Dudley of Round Lake Beach, Tammy (Robert) Radvanovsky of Geneva, and Gary Olk of Round Lake Beach, her grandchildren Zachary of Round Lake Beach and Stephanie of Roselle, and her siblings Penelope of Des Plaines and Douglas of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends of the family may visit on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a funeral mass commencing at 11:00am at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.   1. I am sorry for your families loss. Although many years have passed, I remember being in her wedding and spending summers with the Jaworski family. Lots of wonderful memories during that time.

    I am so sorry to hear about Susie, I so often remember the times we were together at your home in Chicago, eating and singing. I alway felt your mom was the heart of our family. I pray for you all, especially her husband, Mike, and children and grandchildren. While their grief is heavy, I pray that memories will fill bring light into their hearts.
