Obituary's Biography:

Roy F. Jarrett, 85, passed away at his home in Grayslake, IL, on Monday November 11t, 2019.  Roy was born January 17th 1934 in Bancroft WI. Roy was a loving and dedicated husband to his late wife Joan ( Tatum ) Jarrett. Roy was also a loving father of two children, daughter Kathleen (Jarrett) White and son Daniel Jarrett. Roy also had two grandchildren Daniel Mullins and Keith White, and a great grandson Dexter Jarrett Mullins (son of Daniel Mullins). Roy was a long time employee and retiree of Olympic Packaging where he worked in the “Die Room” as a Die Maker. Roy was also an avid trapshooter, fisherman, and collector of U.S. coins. He was a member of McHenry Sportsman’s Club in Johnsburg IL. and also Bristol Shooting Ranges of the Kenosha County Conservation Club in Bristol WI. Roy also was a long time community member of Lake Mason Campground in Briggsville WI where he spent most of his summers. Roy was also confirmed in the Catholic faith in 1992 and he was a long time attendee of St. Gilbert’s church in Grayslake. Roy is survived by his two children Kathleen and Daniel, his two grandchildren Daniel and Keith and his great grandson Dexter, Brother Henry and sister Unice. He was preceded in death by his parents Orla and Margaret Jarrett, his wife Joan, sisters Irene, Leona, Mary Lou, and Inez, and Brothers Bob, George, Charles, Albert and David. A visitation is scheduled for  Tuesday November 19, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E. Bevidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.
