Patricia “Patty” Prather (nee: Peterson), a resident of Plainfield, IL, passed away November 8, 2019 at her home. She was born January 18, 1964 in Park Ridge, IL to Robert and Ella Peterson. Patty is survived by her husband of 10 years, Mark A. Prather, whom she wed on June 15, 2009 in the Virgin Islands, her children Desiree Hildreth, Derek Hildreth, Brianna Hildreth, , Jessica Reynolds, Mark Prather, and Ashlynn Prather, her grandchildren Lillian, Aden, Joselyn, Payton, Kierstyn, Mya, Brendyn, and Peyton, and her siblings Perry Peterson, Pam Wolf, and Peg Didier. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Penny Tucker, and her nephew Matthew Peterson. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 15, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10:30am at the funeral chapel. Interment will be held at 1:00pm at Irving Park Cemetery.
