  1. Pam’s passing is a major loss for the Special Education District of Lake County. Pam’s dedication to our children with significant challenges was enjoyed by many SEDOL classrooms for over a decade. Her particular expertise in meeting the needs of children diagnosed with autism created significant positive effect upon those particular students. The parents of autistic-impaired children also benefited from Pam’s experience, suggestions and loving empathy.

We will miss Pam very much.

  2. Pam, you were joy to work with. Your outlook on life was always very positive and you didn’t allow your illness to get in the way of that. As you always said “your illness was just an inconvenience” admired that about you. I miss you already. Kacner Family: Pam often talked about you all and she was especially proud of Ben and Carolyn. Anakin, you were so very loved. Grandma talked about you everyday, I watched you grow through those pictures that mom always sends to grandma. Pam will always be in my heart. Family be strong, and be encouraged. God bless you all, and comfort you all in this sorrowful time in your lives.

  3. A wonderful lady with a heart of gold – Pam was a kind and loving woman – Our prayers and thoughts are with Mike, her children, grandson and all of her family members – May God watch over you during this difficult time.

  4. Mike, Carolyn and Ben, our deepest sympathy. Pam, you will be missed. The last time we saw each other was at Ben’s Wedding and we all had a great time. We had fun making the Santa Clause face project. I am glad you showed me how to make it because it is my favorite and I hang it every Christmas. So many fond memories. Love John, Terri and Katherine Kacner.
