  5. I knew Nan as a fellow teacher during the mid-late 90’s. As both an individual and a professional, I would describe Nan as loving, committed, conscientious, diligent, and proud. I always thought of her as a cool customer–a “tough cookie” with a soft heart. She was terrific with her students, and respected and beloved by her colleagues.
The thing I will remember most about Nan is her laugh. Not only did it come readily, she sounded LITERALLY tickled. Nan made life on Earth a little more enjoyable for everyone with whom she interacted. I am grateful I got to know her as well as I did.

  6. Nan was an incredible teacher but was an even better person. Was deeply saddened to hear about this and my heart goes out to the entire Rockwell family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Nan will be missed by so many.
