Marvin E. Bohnhoff

Marvin E. Bohnhoff, 87, of Grayslake, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Marvin was born May 7, 1927 to August and Emma (Framke) Bohnhoff in Chicago. He was a veteran of World War II. Dear husband of Sharon (nee Swensson); father of Nancy Martin, Barbara Carr, Robert (Martha); step-father to Joanne (George) Corcoran, Gwen Surell (Bob Erickson), Andrew (Nancy) Zurow; brother of Lorraine (late Wally) Stark, late Norma (late Jack) Massey, late Kenneth (Fern); fond grandfather and great-grandfather of many; and cherished uncle and dear friend of many. Friends of the family may visit Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road (Route 120) Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral service will commence at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church, 405 West State Route 176, Island Lake, IL 60042, followed by interment at McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock, IL.
