Aunt Lorett was my favorite Aunt and a great friend to mother. As the two Catholic wives in the family I think they leaned on each other at times for support and understanding. A visit to Aunt Lorett and Uncle Bob’s house was always a fun adventure for sure. I shall miss her fantasic decorating style and sense of humor. I do not have any memories of Aunt Lorett that were not fun filled and sometimes silly. She shall be missed. I always think of her when I see the color pink.
We are very sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Kandee,
We wish you and your family Love, Light & Healing in these times of sorrow.
We love you.

I first met the Petersen family through Pete Petersen in 1980. I immediately knew that I had found a lifelong friend. It was shortly after meeting Pete that I also met Lorret. And again, not only did I see a wonderful lady in Lorret, but I also saw a great mother and son relationship. Being a small business owner myself, I knew the trial and tribulations associated with running a small business and one that was also a family business. But there always was a great atmosphere at the Petersen’s place of business. Pete walking around the restaurant mingling with guests and Lorret a bit behind the scenes but never to far away from the action in the kitchen. She walked softly but carried a “big stick”. I miss those days of laughter, fun, eating, drinking and a warm safe feeling that never went away……even to this day. I will miss Lorret dearly as I’m sure all will. So long Lorret I will always cherish your memory, smile and wit. Love Curt
Mrs. Peterson was like the “Aunt Mame” character. All color and fun! Beautiful lady inside and out.
She will be greatly missed. Linda Russell
