Kathryn Richard Morgan, 64, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born February 27, 1952 in Roslyn, NY to Patricia and William Albert Richard. Kathy was an employee at Great Lakes Navy Exchange for her entire career. Kathy is survived by her son Joel (Noelle) Morgan of Waukegan, IL, her grandson Henry Morgan of Waukegan, IL, her siblings Jane (Lee) Tougas of Middleton, OH, William A. (Babs) Richard of Charlotte, NC, and Susan (Brien) Gefvert of Grayslake, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Morgan and her parents William A. and Patricia Richard. A visitation and funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fat Cat Rescue Inc. 2201 Martin Luther King Dr. North Chicago, IL on behalf of The Cats Inn 10 N. Lake St. Grayslake, IL.
