  4. I had the privilege to work with John for more than 20 years. John was always so considerate and supportive in every sense of the word. In addition to being a dear friend John was a great mentor, leader, and educator with such a wide interest in every subject.

I will never forget his sense of humor.

John’s talent for listening and calmly assisting in any situation has been and will continue to be a great example to follow.

Although he won’t be here for us to share time with, the time he shared with us will always be remembered.

  5. Betty, you and your family have our deepest sympathy. Johnny was my cousin, and while we hadn’t stayed in touch, he took the time to come to mom’s funeral in September 2013, which meant a lot to Daddy, Sue, Boon and me. He was always so very kind to me; I know he will be deeply missed. You and your family will be in our prayers.
